High level programming languages for Windows-based operatiing systems (Delphi, C++ Builder, MS Visual C, Visual Basic) are used for development of software aplications which work in the Windows environment. These can wither work with graphic user interfaces or in console mode.

Database programming languages (FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, MS SQL, Interbase) allow us to create software products which store user data and actively interact with databases such as MS-Access, MS-SQL and MySQL, and for SQL script writing.

Low level programming languages (Assembler) are used for narrow range tasks which require a higher level of productivity.
